Pulled pork style bbq hero

Ingredients

1 package Hero Bbq style pieces
Vegan barbecue sauce
soft white rolls
handful of rocket leaves

COLESLAW

1 small white cabbage
4 carrots, peeled
1 large red onion
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
100g vegan mayonnaise
1-2 tbsp white wine vinegar
a few pinches of paprika
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Slice cabbage, carrots and onions as finely as you can into thin shreds.

In a jug, whisk the mustard, vegan mayo and vinegar. Season well, and taste for sharpness and creaminess. Add more vinegar if you like.

Mix everything together well with a large spoon. Stir so all the veg gets coated lightly in the dressing. Sprinkle with a few pinches of paprika.

Next, cook the Hero Bbq style pieces.

To assemble, add rocket and Hero Bbq style pieces on each roll then top with the coleslaw and Bbq sauce.

Cooking Hero

  1. Cook the meat on medium to high heat until golden brown on both sides.
  2. Press the meat for 4 sec with a spatula to remove excess humidity.
  1. Spread the meat in a baking tray evenly.
  2. Cook at 180 Celsius for 12-20 min according to your preference.

Keep refrigerated below 5°C. Once open, consume within 7 days.
Can be kept in the freezer for up to 12 months.
